Together, these projects, part of our Building Our Future initiative, represent a minimum construction investment of $860 million in Northeast Ohio. Throughout the planning and building process, we worked closely with local leaders and community stakeholders to ensure our presence continues to support the region’s growth and vitality. We partnered with workforce development organizations to help create jobs and expand training opportunities, and we prioritized local hiring and engagement to ensure these projects benefit the communities around them. Together, these facilities now support more than 4,000 employees — helping to sustain jobs and economic activity in the region for decades to come.
Throughout the project, we made a deliberate commitment to work with small businesses across Northeast Ohio to ensure local companies played a meaningful role in Building Our Future. We also partnered with workforce development organizations and trade partners, helping connect local talent to training and career opportunities while celebrating the individuals who helped bring these projects to life.
Looking forward, the City of Cleveland estimates the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) will receive approximately $4M in additional annual revenue from Sherwin-Williams. Additionally, Sherwin-Williams will continue to work with local and state partners to help fund projects targeted at developing STEM career pathways and exposure for local students.
