The ceremony gathered Sherwin-Williams leaders and construction workers together to commemorate the Building Our Future project continued progress.
The Building Our Future sites observed National Construction Safety Week in early May with a variety of activities and learning opportunities offered by the construction management teams.
The Sherwin-Williams Foundation continues to enhance its commitment with The Northeast Ohio Hispanic Center for Economic Development (NEOHCED) to support economic and business growth, along with advancement of the Northeast Ohio community.
The Sherwin-Williams Company provided a progress report on its Building Our Future project, including construction status of its new global headquarters and its new research and development (R&D) center and the positive impact the project is having on the local community.

HQ Final Landscape & Amenity Submission

On May 20, 2022, Sherwin-Williams submitted to the City of Cleveland our headquarters site updated project material on landscaping/site amenities, tower lighting and site signage. Download Updated HQ Project Submission
HQ Final Design Public Comments and Responses
As part of the final design review process, the public was encouraged to submit to the Planning Commission comments on the Sherwin-Williams headquarters final design package. Those comments were collected by the City of Cleveland and shared with Sherwin-Williams just prior to the November 30 public meeting. Global R&D Center Preliminary Development Plan Presentation
On July 19, Sherwin-Williams submitted a preliminary development plan for its new Global Research & Development Center to be located in Brecksville, Ohio. Proposed Site Plans for Global Headquarters and R&D Center
CLEVELAND, February 19, 2021 – These proposed plans provide a high-level footprint of buildings, parking and green spaces for each site. Over the coming months, these plans will be refined and reviewed by the City of Cleveland and the City of Brecksville as required by their respective planning and design organizations.

Sherwin-Williams Names Minority Construction Management Firms for New Global Headquarters and R&D Center Project

Sherwin-Williams Plans to Build New Global Headquarters in Downtown Cleveland and R&D Center in Brecksville
CLEVELAND, February 6, 2020 – The Sherwin-Williams Company (NYSE: SHW) today announces it is finalizing plans to build a new global headquarters in downtown Cleveland and a new R&D center in the Cleveland suburb of Brecksville. The plans follow an extensive competitive site selection process and are contingent upon completion of standard due diligence, approvals of incentives and other matters at the state, county and city levels, and resolution of business and legal matters that accompany such major real estate investment projects.
