Sherwin-Williams is committed to advancing community impact in the Building Our Future project.

Our Commitment


The Building Our Future project includes meeting or exceeding robust requirements set forth by the approved economic development packages. Over the course of the project, construction costs have increased due to changes in design. Based on these changes, the supplier dollar commitment has increased from $225M to $258M based on 30% of the project construction budget of $860M. The project requirements and contracts awarded to date are shown below:

Community Engagement

We have been working proactively with the cities of Cleveland and Brecksville and county and state leaders, along with community leaders and trade partners to identify and create opportunities for all qualified businesses to participate based on our project requirements.


As we Build Our Future, expanding our footprint in Northeast Ohio, we are excited to share some of the partners making our downtown Cleveland Global Headquarters and Brecksville Research & Development Center a reality. "Our Community" is made up of a mosaic of companies and professionals that we are proud to work with and thrilled to share with you. We have taken time to capture the unique stories of these companies to celebrate the caliber of talent and deep experience partnering to help Sherwin-Williams Build Our Future.
